U11 Calcio Talent & Select - SHEFFIELD CITY

A really strong start saw us dominate the opening 20minutes but create few chances. Josh had one in the net given offside but other that, the oppositions strong CBs caused us problems. 

Going into the second period we discussed how we would create more chances by playing in behind more, Josh was asked to play ball side more meaning we had more options for wingers and cm's on the ball. This brought about some more chances and a couple of missed tap ins!

The game was lost in third quarter as Sheffield stepped up their attacking threat and scored 2 quick fire goals and another right on the break. 

A brilliant solo goal from Will brought it back to 3-1 and a barnstorming finish was on the cards but for Sheffield to hold out. 

A very strong opponent today but sometimes you have games like these where you play good football, but get absolutely no luck!
