U13 Orange - Whitley Juniors

U13 Orange 4 - 2 Whitley Juniors.

Absolutely brilliant team performance today, with everyone playing their part whether starting or coming on to change the game. 

We won games by bigger scorelines before, but without the overall team performance. 

Today was great to watch, with the boys playing really good 1 and 2 touch football  on the front foot, to pretty much dominate the whole game.

A couple of lapses in concentration let the opposition in to score, but with the confidence the boys are showing, the result was never really in doubt.

We've been lucky to add some quality players over the summer and autumn, and 2 of those were front runners for coaches MOTM today.....Lennon and Aiden.

Lennon has added composure to the backline, and was fantastic today.

Aiden was set a personal challenge by Tom to run at their fullback, using his pace and skill to get past them, and get his shots away. He smashed it today with 2 assists and a goal in the 1st half, to set the tone for the whole game...thoroughly deserved MOTM 👏

Charlie....without a doubt the best GK in our tier, and unbelievable shot stopping. 

It gets harder every week to pick out individual performances because their team performance is improving week by week.

Holding their shape well in and out of possession too.

1 more win next week against Hillmorton, and we go into Xmas break top.
