U11 Black - Upper Lighthorne spitfire

A dominant performance that saw Brakes go in 1-0 up at half time, Olly getting a well deserved goal after being a constant threat on the wing.

Second half started how we left the first half having most of the possession and looking threatening, was only a matter of time before Jeevan finished off a nice cross from Olly putting Brakes 2 up. We only had to wait a further 5 minutes before Joshua made it 3 with a good tackle on the edge of the box and he took the opportunity exceptionally well with a fantastic strike of the ball comfortably beating the GK. 

A lapse of concentration saw the Spitfires pull one back with a player at the back post unmarked leaving Archie with little chance of saving it. 

Brakes bounced back just 2 minutes later with Alfie netting his first goal for the club, despite us pushing hard for more goals we were unable to capitalise on a few good chances.
