Well that was a game of two halves ,I'll take part of the blame, with getting the kick off time wrong and the lads only having 15 mins to warm up etc 🤦‍♂️ shh don't tell Sarah 😂.

Our midfield had one of there worst halves in first half, tackles non existent and couldn't put a string of passes together, this put added pressure on our back four and we were lucky to come in 3-1 up at half time, but respect to the lads they listened at half time and came out a different side.  Our midfield started finding the spaces better giving themselves more time on the ball to make the passes needed, they also got more physical 💪 which is needed against these Coventry teams.

XAVIER was parents man of the match, wow what a screamer of a goal for the 1st and good banger for the 2nd,so it wasn't just his usual solid defensive performance today, but he had a couple of great goals to go with it 👏 .

JOSEPH was my man of the match Mr Consistent always puts a good shift in, he played in about 3 different positions today and nailed everyone of them, but his two goals showed what he's about, pure determination and never giving up chasing every ball down 💪.

TYLER had his best game for us today really starting to read the game well ,he probably had his worst game against them last time we played them, so he came out fighting today, he was tracking back getting some needed tackles in, he was also pushing forward a few times, its good to see him growing in confidence 💪. 

VEE, another lad who's growing in confidence down that right wing, before Christmas I asked for him to be more physical, it's been good to see him getting stuck in more, but its his creativity that is at a top level write now ,he could quite easily of been man of the match today with a goal and some assists to go with it 💪.

Very rare I do a 3rd shout out ,but this one is for ARIAN ,turning up today with a bruised, strapped up finger as a goalie is a brave thing to do for the team, he didn't have to much to do today but again when he needed to he was ready, the one save where the ball went through about 4 people and he dived to the bottom corner 👏.

We've got some tough games ahead and we can't afford to have a half like the first half against them teams, all in all though I'm very happy that we've only conceded 2 goals this year a big improvement from before Xmas we're are working together better as a defensive unit .

It got a bit rough out there today the lads handled it well, we have to give it back to these Coventry teams 💪, we even nearly had Shannon kicking of with one of the opposition parents 😂 ,it's been a very entertaining afternoon if I'm honest , well done everyone ⚽
