Girls U11's Wildcats - Leamington Lions RA
Our final preseason friendly today and wow - A BIG statement win from the Wildcats against one of the strongest teams in the U11 age group.
We were on it from minute 1, immediately putting Leamington under pressure and they struggled to get out of their own half for the entire first 20 minutes. ⚽️ Isabelle got the first goal after 9 minutes and whilst it was only 1-0 at the first break it could easily have been 4 or 5 with the Leamington keeper making a number of saves and other chances going wide.
We were the better team again in the next 20, with only one team creating the chances. Isabelle scored the second goal with the last kick of the second 20. ⚽️
We continued to dominate and Isabelle grabbed her hat trick 2 minutes in to the last 20⚽️, before ⚽️ Emily smashed a long range effort into the bottom corner to make it 4-0! ☄️ There’s going to be a great battle for top goalscorer this season!
Leamington got a late goal back with a few minutes to play but it was too little too late.
