Girls U11's Wildcats - SoccerRockz Girlz

Defeat in the semi final for our super Stockton Wildcats who gave it 100% against a SoccerRockz team who were just fantastic at passing the ball and finding space throughout the match. We wish SoccerRockz all the best in next week’s final!

We had our moments during the match and it could all of been very different if some of our chances had gone in but the SoccerRockz keeper produced 3 brilliant saves to deny Maisie, Emily hit the crossbar with an outrageous shot from out wide and Lily-Rae hit the post late on. 

We did finish on a high though, scoring the last goal of the game when Maisie curled a shot into the bottom corner. ⚽️ We really deserved that goal for all our efforts.

Aside from goals we battled really well throughout the team. The midfield and defence ran their socks off, there was some brilliant committed defending, slide tackles, and some superb saves in goal as well. 

Well done team, you’ve been fantastic all season and again today, it just wasn’t our day.
