Girls U13's - Bourneville

Today we played Bourneville, at home.  It was a tougher game against a stronger Bourneville team. They were difficult to break down in the first half and we went into half time at 0-0. Just after half time Freya broke the deadlock, cutting in from the right and slotting home. 

In the 40th minute Holly broke the offside trap to run on to a through ball, and calmly stroked the ball into the net. 

In the 48th minute, Freya grabbed her second of the game to give us a comfortable 3-0 lead. Robyn and her defence, then kept Bourneville at bay for the remaining few minutes to finish with another clean sheet. 

Another hard earned win for our girls, and again, everyone contributed something to get the 3 points. 

Today's player of the match went to Freya, who changed the game when she came on, and fully deserved her 2 goals. 

Parents player went to Holly, who grabbed another goal, and could have had a couple more.
