Girls U11's Wildcats - Coventry Godiva

A close fought match this morning for the Wildcats against Coventry Godiva.

We were in control for much of the match and probably should have won by more than one goal but the ball didn’t quite break for us at times.

Lots of players had opportunities to score throughout the match and we are definitely starting to see some improved passing.

Maisie scored the only goal of the game, her 22nd of the season, just after half time with a shot into the bottom corner. ⚽️

Ava, in only her second appearance for the team, impressed everybody with some great passing, skill and energy in midfield. Super performance winning player of the match and parents player of the match.

A good defensive performance today, Rosie, Arabella, Brooke and Hollie all did well to keep the opposition away from goal throughout the match. Elsie was always in control in goal and a well deserved clean sheet!! 🧤
