Boys U9's Lightning - Kenilworth Town
The U8s signed off for 2023 with one of their best performances of the season.
Playing a Kenilworth team we suffered a heavy defeat against only a few weeks ago, they boys could easily have shied away from the tough challenge ahead. However, they most definitely rose to the occasion. Showing great effort and determination from the first whistle they caused Kenilworth a lot of problems throughout the game and were very unlucky not to score in a fast paced first half.
Finally the rewards came in the second half as the team started to play some great football, getting better and better as the game went on.
A great all round performance from a great group of kids!
