U13 Purple 24/25 - Brook house

💜Just not our day💜

today we welcomed Brook house for a cup match. 

After how well the girls played last week we were expecting to see the same dedication and commitment on the pitch today. 

unfortunately for various reasons we were 4 players down leaving us with just two subs and then one was injured so against a tough, physical and fast team it was a struggle. 

we just didn’t seem to turn up playing for the win today. We lacked concentration, we didn’t pass, mark or move around the pitch. The game was disappointing to see and Brook House came to win and they were the better team by far. 

we did have some physical altercations where a player had Gracie by the throat. Whether it was intentional we can’t say and Chelsea was slide tackled taking her out completely that she’s now in plaster with a broken heal. 

Maybe with a full and fit squad the result may have been different, but today wasn’t our day. 

we win or we learn and today we walked away with a lot more to learn!
