U11 Cougars - Corinthian Casuals Red Dragons U10s

Back to back wins for the first time this season but more importantly back to back TOP TIER performances. All the pieces continue to fall into place as the boys build further as a team. 

The same as last week we'll focus on each player individually:

Jojo - Superb finish for his goal, smashing it into the far top corner. Jojo did exceptionally well at CDM holding it all together, and made fantastic runs on the wings linking play, a great all round performance.

Tom P - Scored a fantastic header from a corner and was causing the opposition problems every time he got forward. Great workrate to get back and defend when needed, a real shift for the team. 

Jermaine - Another mature performance from J, capped off with another banger from distance. Super workrate in the middle linking everything together, looked to be positive on the ball at all times.

Harry - Super solo goal and assist for Jojo after making a great tackle. Worked tirelessly up top to keep the pressure on, resulting in the oppo relying on long balls. Looked to link the wide players today which was great.

Ari - Great performance from Ari today up and down the wing, putting a shift in for his teammates. Came very close to getting on the end of a few through balls but we were particularly impressed with his work with Theo over lapping down the flanks. 

TC - Continued to build on his new role as the 'Attacking Centre Back'. Driving into midfield to create overloads, mopping up attacks and sniffing out danger, on top of getting and assist with a great through ball. Another top class performance from today's captain.

Theo - PotM performance from Theo today. A superb assist for Tom P's header and two great goals, including a free kick. Looked dangerous on the wing and mature in the middle, we were very pleased with Theo today, great attitude. 

Louis - Louis dropped in to play CDM today and looked very comfortable breaking up attacks and looking to play out. Some very confident, mature linking of defence and attack as well, capped off with an assist. A great performance from Louis. 

Very happy with all the boys attitude today in far from ideal conditions. But they stuck to task, worked hard for each other and continued to play open, expansive, entertaining football that we love to see. We're so proud to see them expressing themselves and enjoying their football, looking forward to the next game! ⚪️🔵🔵⚽️
