U9 Calcio Talent & Select - York City Football Club U9

A highly competitive game against York City today with lots of positives both IN and OUT of possession. It was great to see the players showing a huge desire to win the ball back high up the pitch, which provided great success with us particularly in the 1st third of the game. Which lead to some brilliant shooting from Oscar, Lewen and Freddie in front of goal. 

IN Possession the boys all showed some great bravery on the ball as well, which was  amazing to see. Particularly from our defenders like Issac, Sam and Henry  who all showed some great moments of driving forwards into space with the ball. I thought our midfielders Ethan, George, Harry and Eddie  also made some good decisions in possession to help our team play forwards and battled at high intensity to help us win the ball back out of possession. 

Overall, lots of good signs and promising things I’ve seen that we can build on, to become even stronger for next week 🙌
