U10 Calcio Talent & Select - Yorkshire Ameatures U10’s

An excellent start for Calcio saw us 1-0 up in the 1st minute as Freddie Simms, finished off a great pass from Seth Farr. Yorkshire Ameatures came straight back into the game though as Alex made some important saves to keep the scoreline at 1-0. At the other end Finlay had a great effort which cannoned between the post and cross bar and Freddie also hit the cross bar from a great left footed effort. We led after the 1st third 1-0. 

Into the 2nd third and Yorkshire Ameatures took a 2-1 lead pretty quickly with shots being allowed at our goal too easily. However, we did not let that stop us and the momentum shifted in our favour again, with 2 great goals from Raphie and Freddie saw us regain the lead. 

We went into the final third with a 3-2 lead, once again Yorkshire Ameatures started strong and scored a quick goal, evening up the scoreline. We responded excellently with some good passing play between Seth, Freddie, Raphie and Finlay as we scored another 3 goals to secure the win. A late goal from Yorkshire Ameatures was a consolation as we held onto our first victory (6-4) in the end.

Despite the positivity it is so important we continue to develop and improve as individuals for our upcoming league season, starting at Friday’s training!
