Open Age Women's Reserve Team - Headingley United

Fantastic performance throughout, with the reserves limiting Headingley United’s chances throughout the whole match. 

The woodwork took more of a bruising, with the reserves hitting the woodwork atleast 7 times, aswell as missing so many chances which could’ve seen our reserves claim their biggest victory yet if chances were put away.

From minute 1, Grace was positive in her play, running at defenders with close ball control and making line breaking passes to find our diagonal runs, phenomenal throughout and a massive step in her development

Team Player: Evie Edgley

Evie has played LB for 2 games in a row now and has absolutely smashed it, limiting opposition and being tough and aggressive when defending aswell as transitioning forward. Her 15 minutes as captain towards the end was rewarded due to her commanding nature and confidence on the pitch.
