Well another dramatic match, 3 nil down after 10 mins wasn't a great start 🤦‍♂️ but the character of this team battled back brilliantly by getting the ball down and playing football, we're a much better team when our midfield play the passing game.  This was our midfields best game by far, every single one of them having the composure needed.  I pushed Joseph up in to midfield today and he took his opportunity defo, finding pockets of space and time which is essential in that role, he capped a fine performance of with a goal and assist to. Mr consistent Hugh was brill today too, breaking down their play when we needed it most and again being composed on the ball and playing some great balls through and banging in a great goal from outside the area to round of a top display.  Alfie as usual was everywhere full of energy always available to receive the ball to help take the pressure of our defence and went and banged in a couple of great goals one with his left foot too ,something we worked on yesterday so well done Alfie very happy with my midfields performance today.

I done two man of the matches today one of them was long over due, as I thought I had given him one at start of season but Nathanial as always running another defence ragged and another hattrick again, we're very lucky to have a confident pacey striker who knows how to score goals.  My second man of the match was Rohan, it's not the easiest of positions, you don't get much room to play with and your usually up against a pacey winger, the days of old he used to just boot the ball when he got it, now he brings it down with confidence and pings it down the line brilliantly, he capped his game of with a great free kick from outside the area 💪.

One last shout out is for my son Archie, with Ciaran having to go at half time Archie had to step in to centre back, he played like he's been playing there all season great tracking, timing his tackles perfectly and bringing the ball out when the opportunity was there.

The biggest positive for me today was 7 different goal scorers a real confidence booster for all that is.

One negative is we're conceding too many unnecessary goals some are due to fitness which we will improve , some from not being tactically aware which again we will improve, all in all though to be sitting in 3rd place and only losing 1 game in 8 games (counting friendlies) we are progressing brilliantly. ⚽
