Girls U11's Wildcats - SJB

A great team performance for the Wildcats this morning against a tricky and skilful SJB team.

We've shown a huge improvement over the past few weeks and we're becoming a hard team to beat. Only 3 goals conceded in the last 125 minutes of football we've played.

Emily scored the goal that had put us in front midway through the second half, a driving run from midfield, into the area before smashing the ball into the net. The defenders couldn't cope and the goalkeeper stood no chance.

Brooke was awarded Player of the Match - defensively fantastic throughout the whole match, powerful and strong, but one crucial tackle in particular, in the box in the closing minutes prevented us from losing the game.

Hollie in goal for the game was awesome - the opposition coach commented afterwards how impressed he was.
