Falcons play in the U11 top Division so we knew today’s All Weather Cup game would be our toughest game of the season so far.
We really gave them a game first half and if we had some luck could’ve been level if not leading. HT 0-2.
Second half we didn’t start well and as they scored a couple goals we seemed to lose confidence and we lost our way. They were also a lot bigger and physical which we struggled with.
Our goalkeeper Alfie McGreevy deserves a mention for a couple of great saves to keep us going. Harry Simms and Dominiks Zdanovskis are joint POTM, Harry’s defending and covering at the back and Dom’s energy in trying to get us forward.
We tried our best today trying to pass and play allot more football, sometimes you just come up against a better team. But we’re proud of our boys again this week.
