U15 Blacks - Forza

A different challenge for the boys today as they had to adapt their style of play to a very bad ''grass'' pitch. After the first period where we could have been sharper in the final third, we grew into the game and took control, keeping Forza in their half and delivering dangerous crosses into their box. We were unlucky to hit the bar in the first half and, in the final period, switched to a 4-4-2 diamond to increase the pressure. The boys gave everything, striking the post and narrowly missing the rebound to equalize last kick of the game

As I told the boys after the game, sometimes that’s just football. But with the energy and attitude they showed today, positive things are coming.
