U14 Blues - First Touch FC

A very good performance from the 14s Blues this weekend as we welcomed First Touch FC from Hull to bodington. 

A super start saw us race into a 1-0 lead through a great individual goal from Naim. The game was a bit more end to end than we would normally want although we felt we were in control for the majority of the game but First Touch did pose a threat on the transition as they were leaving 3 players high which countered our 3 CBs and wing back system pretty well and led to a couple of good chances of their own. 

First touch got the equaliser when a cross caught the wind and flew into the far top corner, they felt it was game on but we reamianed confident that we would get another good chance and that is exactly what happened when Joel was laid on by Naim and finsihed off a great move by wrapping the ball in to the bottom corner which ultimately ended up being the winning goal. 

Well done Blues - a long away trip to Beverley on saturday.
