U13 Blacks vs Pro Elite
In a commanding performance, Ultimate Football Coaching Academy (UFCA) secured a 4-1 victory over Pro Elite Academy. From the outset, UFCA dominated possession and won individual battles across the pitch.
First Half:
• Opening Goal: Oliver Worrall’s excellent work down the right flank led to a shot that was saved by the Pro Elite goalkeeper. However, Franklin Gibson was quickest to react, slotting home the rebound to give UFCA the lead.
• Second Goal: Ben Higgins won the ball back and combined effectively with Oliver Worrall to to find Ethan Hall on the right side. Hall fired a powerful shot into the roof of the net, doubling UFCA’s advantage.
Half-Time: UFCA 2 - 0 Pro Elite
Second Half:
UFCA continued to control the game, particularly in midfield, with standout performances from Leo, Ianis, and Zach.
• Pro Elite’s Goal: With 20 minutes remaining, Pro Elite changed their tactics and formation, which led to a long-ball opportunity that they capitalized on, reducing the deficit to 2-1.
Despite this setback, UFCA regained their composure and continued to press forward.
• Third Goal: A well-constructed play found Ben Higgins in space. He delivered a clever reverse pass to Franklin Gibson, who calmly finished to restore UFCA’s two-goal lead at 3-1.
• Fourth Goal: With five minutes remaining, excellent build-up play down the left involving Alex, Lennie, and Ethan Duckworth culminated in a cut-back to Wilson inside the box. Although Wilson’s shot was saved, Duckworth followed up to score, sealing a 4-1 victory for UFCA.
