Girls U13's - Sutton Coldfield
The u12 girls continued their fine run of form vs Sutton coldfield at home.
After a frantic start, Holly opened the scoring in the third minute. She bagged her second on the 10 minute mark, After a dominant passage of play.
Despite dominating, we couldn't add to the tally beofre half time.
We asked the girls to go out in the second half and continue playing the way they had in the first half, but to try and add more goals.
It didn't take long for the girls to increase the scoreline, with Alyssia grabbing a quick fire double within the opening 10 minutes of the restart.
Eva soon added number 5 with a speculative shot from the edge of the box.
Helen grabbed herself number 6, after working hard to win the ball and chasing everything down.
Alyssia got her hat trick with the very last kick of the game, with the ball looping over the sutton keeper.
The girls were very impressive today, and absolutely deserved the win.
Their passing and movement has improved dramatically over the recent weeks, and they are playing some beautiful football. It's a pleasure to watch these girls at the minute.
Player of the match went to Freya today, who created multiple chances from the right side of midfield.
The parents couldn't pick out a player for the parents award, and decided to award the whole team the award for today.
