Atherstone u12 vs Stockton juniors u12

After a good start to the season the boys came up against a good Atherstone team who had won every game up to yet.

Early in the first half Harry hit the inside of the post but some how the ball did not cross the line. That seemed to wake the opposition up and they responded quickly with a handful of goals. Stockton continued to try and attack but couldn't create any clear cut chances.

Half time 7-0

The boys came in at half time and said that they were going to try and win the second half after a disappointing first half.

The second half was much closer and the boys created lots of chances and also missed a penalty. Ronnie was able to get a goal back with a nicely taken finish after break through the defence. The half finished 1-1 which was a great effort considering how the first half went.

The boys showed real togetherness and great team spirit despite the result. After a quarter of the through the season 3 wins 1 draw 2 losses has been a great start.
