Girls U11's Wildcats - Crusaders

A really competitive game today between two evenly matched teams.

Wildcats started very well and took the lead early on, an identical goal to last week - from a goal kick, brilliant long pass from Maisie cutting straight through the Crusader’s team for Lily-Rae to run on to and smash the ball into the top corner.

Our defending was much better this week. Arabella and Brooke worked really well together at the back throughout the match, especially against the Crusaders no.7 who was fantastic on the ball.

Crusaders finished the game strong and hit the crossbar towards the end. Emilie-Rose again made some important saves in goal in the second half - a second half clean sheet.

A draw was a fair result. Really looking forward to these two teams meeting again in 2 weeks.
