U13 Orange - CTK Rovers

2/2/2025. League game v CTK Rovers.

Wow, what a great performance from everyone again.

The boys are clearing every hurdle put in front of them, and that's 5 wins and a draw from our last 6 league games to open up a healthy gap to 3rd place.

The 4-5-1 formation is working well, with it allowing us to control the midfield and press from the middle 3rd, whilst also making us hard to get through and score.

It's what we've been working on in training and led to both goals, so it's really good to see everyone taking it into games.

That's 1 goal conceded in 3 games against physical teams.

Again, there are so many candidates for MOTM, but rather than focus on individual performances, it's working in their units and holding their shape in and out of possession that impressed me the most.

The next 2 games are massive and will have a huge bearing on our promotion push, but with the attitude everyone has, and the intensity they're playing with, I'm positive they'll have a cracking last 9 games of the season.

We asked the boys what their goals were at the start of the season and they all said promotion.

So far they're on track and deserve huge credit for their football.
