Rising Hope Cobras (Year 9 Sept 2024) - Corby Town Blacks

Entertaining game from both teams creating numerous chances. Unfortunately Corby Town Blacks took their chances better than the Cobras. 

Cobras wasted a number of clear cut chances when one on one. 

It was a welcome back to the squad for Mackenzie and he showed some great skill in popping the ball over the defenders head a few times before making a good pass to Josh. 

Riley scoring our first goal with some superb play in the middle from Nathan, finding josh out wide at the 2nd attempt. Josh put In a hard low cross to the back post where Riley met it with a first time shot into the corner. 

Nathan the  scored our 2nd goal when he picked the ball up on the edge of the box and drilled it hard and low into the goal. 

A quick corner from Cole into Nathan who managed to turn and cross where India was quickest to react and give a tidy finish. 

That was the last of goals unfortunately but our play was crisp and good to watch for longer periods of the game today.
