Girls U13's - Sutton coldfield

It Was great to have everyone available for the last game of the year, away at Sutton Coldfield.

We got off to the perfect start when Alyssia scored our opener after 3 minutes. Despite lots of changes, the girls kept a firm hold on the game, and Eggie grabbed another  goal for herself before the break to take us into half time 2-0 up. 

Eggie grabbed her second of the game early in the second half , before Sutton broke through and squeezed one home at the near post. 

Sophie restored the 3 goal lead half way through the second half with a cool finish. 

Sutton grabbed a late second goal after a panicky period of play, but we held on to finish the year with a fairly comfortable 4-2 win. 

Every girl played well again today , and gave us 100%. We were very unfortunate not to have scored a few more goals , but  it was a great effort from all and a deserved win. 

Girl of the game went to Alyssia, who had a great game today, and deserved her goal. 👏🏻 

Parents player went to Ava for all of her hard work up front, and then  later in defence. 💪🏻

It was a lovely way to finish the year this morning, and was a very enjoyable watch.  

We finish the year sat in joint 4th place in the league, which is better than expected, so we are dead chuffed.
