Girls U12's Lionesses - Knowle Dragons

A slightly depleted Stockton side ran out comfortable 6-2 winners at Knowle Dragons this morning.

It was a solid performance by the girls, even with the squad missing key players in attack and defence and an impacted warmup due to logistical issues...

The Lionesses were 6 nil up without response before an additional two players under the power play rules helped Knowle bag two very late goals.

The result was never in doubt and, to be honest, it could have been more if not for a very low hanging crossbar and a very resilient stand in keeper.

It was pleasing to see the girls pass the ball out from the back, using the whole pitch, working the space and playing attractive football.
