Stockton Netball - Seniors - Synergy

On an uncharacteristically warm day for October, Stockton A started their season against Synergy. Knowing we were up against a 6ft1 keeper playing for Synergy, we went for battle!

The heat sapped both teams of some energy and the play felt slow, but we made steady progress to keep a nose aheadduring the first 2 quarters. The play down the court was smooth and direct(everyone had clearly been listening at training about the need to stop and drive...!), with our attack playing beautifully together to get the ball into the circle.

We had a tough third quarter where we all lost a bit of focus and energy, but we came back hard in the fourth quarter and defended very well, taking lots of interceptions and forcing Synergy into bad passes, and finished the game 48 - 29, A great opening game!
