Discover UK’s most affordable online ticket sale system!
SportMember's Ticket sale is your new opportunity to create events with associated ticket sales. It's super smart, really easy and the most affordable solution. Once you have created an event, a website with ticket sales is immediately created. Here, everyone can buy tickets for the club's events, regardless of whether they have aSportMember profile or not.
A clear list of participants is generated so you can easily get an overview of participants and there are QR codes on the tickets that you can scan via our app when participants need access to the event. This way you can easily and professionally keep track of participants.
You can create different ticket types and options for the event. Via the overview, you can keep track of tickets sold, click on the event link to see what your event looks like and share the link (e.g. on Facebook) to show the event to everyone you want to invite. You can also showcase ticket sales on the club's website, where all upcoming events are displayed.
It can be anything from tickets to the annual market, which generates revenue for the sports club, or recurring events such as Tuesday bingo for a pound.
Creating events is super simple!
The first thing you do when creating your event is to give it a great name, upload a cool image or illustration and add information about time, location, etc. Then you create the ticket types you want to sell. The system allows you to create different ticket types for tiered pricing, add-ons, extras and more. When you're done and have entered all the information, a complete overview appears. Here you can easily check that everything is as you want it. If not, it's easy to go back and edit.
Create ticket sales immediately, via link, on SportMember and in the calendar
Once your event is created, you can click on it and access a link that is the website with your event. You can copy the link to the event and share it on the channels your club uses, be it on a website, in a newsletter or on social media, so you have full control over where and how much the event is exposed.
At the bottom of the first page when creating the event, you also have the option to choose whether the event can be published on Holdsport's "Events" page and you can enable the event to appear in your members' calendar - Smart, right? You can also showcase ticket sales on the club's website, where all upcoming events are displayed.
What's also smart is that event participants don't necessarily need to have a Holdsport profile, but simply receive an email with the ticket independently of Holdsport. So everyone can join in!
QR code for scanning tickets
When it's time to run the event, the administrator or others in the club with rights can access a QR code scanner in the Holdsport app and register tickets for the event with the mobile camera function. This makes it very easy to keep track that everyone has a valid ticket for the event. See below how to find the scanner in the app. After the event is over, you can also easily get an overview of tickets sold, participants and earnings for the club.
Ticket scanning - Control and registration
Manage your event with ease! When the event takes place, an administrator or club member with access can access a QR scanner via the Holdsport app. Here you can scan guests' tickets and check people in. This means increased control and transparency in terms of which tickets are valid and paid - ensuring that the club receives its ticket revenue
All tickets come with a unique QR code that can be scanned at the event entrance, making it easy and efficient to manage participants for your event.
The scanner is available in the SportMember mobile app, which you can access as the event administrator. Simply use your phone’s camera function to scan the tickets.
Here’s how to do it:
1. Go to your club in the app.
2. Open the menu and select “Tickets”.
3. Find the event you want to check tickets for.
4. Allow the app to access your phone’s camera.
5. Start scanning tickets.
Once scanned, the ticket will be marked as used in the event’s overview.
