Girls U13's - Coundon cockerels

the girls were away to Coundon Cockerels in Division one. Stockton started much brighter than last week, and dominated the early possession.  We opened the scoring on 20 mins, after Alyssia smashed home a free kick from the edge of the box. 

Despite being rhe better team, we struggled to find the back of the net again. 

Coundon found an equaliser mid way through the second half, when their Coundon CB hot a long range free kick , that looped over Robyn in goal.  To be fair, it was a great strike. 

There were good performances all over the park, on what was a hard,  bobbly pitch. We saw lots of headers, aggression to win the ball back, and lots of communication.  Loads of positives to take away, and someone is going to get a tonking soon!

Player of the match went to Eggie, who covered every blade of grass today. 

Parents player went to Alyssia, who worked hard, leading from the front, and bagged herself another goal.
