Stockton juniors u12 vs Rugby Borough u12

After almost a month without a game the boys could be forgiven if they started slowly but that was far from the case. Within the first 5 minutes a good throw in from Eddie found chace in the left hand side of the area, he took the ball around his marker and fired a low shot through the keepers legs to make it 1-0. Stockton started to find their groove and a quick fire brace from William made the score 3-0. In the last 10 minutes of the first half the drizzle started the come down, the temperature dropped and so did Stocktons intensity. Only a fine left handed save from Jenson kept the score at 3-0 going into the break.

At half time the boys were extremely cold but were given the task of trying to keep a clean sheet whilst still trying to score more goals if possible. They threw everything at it! Created a number of chance going forward but were unfortunate not to convert them. In defence they stood up to the challenge and when the opposition did break through Jensen made 3 incredible saves to keep his clean sheet intact.
