U12 BLACKS 7-1 YEFA U12

First game back after the prolonged break with Christmas and recent bad weather, it was great to see the boys back in action.

We weren’t the slickest we’ve  been in playing out and turned over the ball a lot in the middle third which is unlike us.

what we’re were excellent at was our willingness to recover / press to win the ball back after we had lost it and the intensity the boys played at without the ball kept YEFA at bay and limited their chances to a few shots over the 80 minutes (Taylor Smith had a big part to play in this who was outstanding throughout), and also the penalty save from Taylen.

One thing this team does have in abundance is attacking threat with goals coming from midfield and all the attackers, the 7 goals scored mean we have scored 52 goals in 9 games which is an amazing stat 🔥

With no easy games in the league and a lot of the teams beating each other to only loose one game until the point is fantastic and let’s keep working hard to keep the run going 💪🏻
