U12 Blacks - Forza U12

This game really showed how far this group has come, it was only 7 1/2 month ago this team was beating us in the cup!, albeit they may have lost a few players, its still a large majority the same team, and they were sat at the top of the league unbeaten.

A very professional and patience display in this fixture, with us dominating large parts of the early exchanges, but we couldn't take advantage of the chances we created.

Once we recognised their patterns of play down their right (Dexter nullified this excellently by jumping and getting tight) and them playing into the no.9 feet in a direct style (the boys screening from the front with the CM, and Taylor and then Nik dealing with him excellently).

The second half we went up another gear scoring 4 unanswered goals and getting another clean sheet with the boys defending excellently as a team, and an amazing debut for our U11 GK Oscar, who was very assure and his handling was superb all game.

5-0 the final score, which really didnt flatter us and was well deserved.
