U12 Blacks - FC Pontefract
A superb performance from the U11s Blacks in the opening game of their spring cup competition.
The statistics from the veo footage show the story of the game with a dominant 60% possession and a total of 46 shots on goal to show that the possession was certainly backed up with a desire to go forwards and create scoring opportunities.
FC Pontefract were a good opponent whos style is a little different to ours but as all good teams must, we had to deal with their direct play in order to earn the right to play our style of football.
We look forward to the next 4 weeks of this cup group stage and to more great games.
Player of the match was Dylan McDermott with 4 goals and 1 assist. A special mention to Xander Bailey Robinson who was like a mini De Bruyne as he notched up 4 assist's and 1 goal.
