Chapelfield Colts 2 vs Leamington Brakes U10 Purple 10

Brakes put in a fabulous performance to comprehensively beat a spirited Chapelfield Colts 10 (ten) -2. Despite a howling wind the Brakes boys dominated from the first whistle. They knocked the ball round with confidence and created a number of excellent chances. They were eventually rewarded when Sam fired home from distance. He added to that great goal with an even better one shortly after to make it 2-0. A well taken free kick by Rufus allowed Artem to tap home and Brakes went into halftime 3-0 up. 

After the break, Brakes continued to push forward and Sam completed his hat-trick before Chapelfields got one back. The 4 goal advantage was soon restored when Edward smashed home from distance. A lovely team goal saw Sam grab his fourth and Toby got in on the goals with an excellently curled free kick. He soon grabbed a second before Rufus expertly slotted home from the penalty spot to make it 10. Chapelfields grabbed a consolation but the defensive combination of Player the Match Bertie, Beau, Ollie and goalkeeper Joe had the better of the opposition attackers throughout. The final whistle eventually blew and Brakes were champions!
