CF U7 NL 2024/2025 (Corams Fields League) - TGFC

We played with 1-2-1 formation.

Our team started strong, and early on, Zain opened the scoring with a well-taken goal. However, we made a few individual errors and the opposition managed to score two quick goals, putting us behind 2-1. Despite some great chances to equalize, we missed 3-4 big opportunities before halftime.

In the second half, the team came out much improved, creating plenty of chances. Zain was on fire, scoring three more goals, while Carl added another with quick counter-attacks and strong pressing in the attacking half.

After making some changes, the other team found a bit of space and pulled one back, making it 5-3. 

In the last minute of the match, the referee awarded a penalty, but Carl pulled off an incredible save! In the following counter-attack, Zain worked hard and set up Kadri for the final goal, sealing a 6-3 victory.

Considering this is a new team with players still getting used to each other, I was very pleased with the overall performance and effort from everyone. We still have areas to improve, but for a first game, it was a great effort.

Next time, we’ll come back even stronger!
