Mambas 0-2 Barton Panthers

Gutted for the boys, I thought we fought well and were competitive again, we played through to the final whistle and gave everything. 

Just didn’t happen today, didn’t really make a lot of clear chances, we were rushed in possession and a lot of shots were from far out. 

Barton took a halftime lead with a lucky lob HT 1-0

Barton doubled that with a penalty midway through the second half. FT 2-0 

The referee was a little overawed today in terms of controlling the game and there was a bit of back and forth between coaches, in what was a competitive game that boiled over at times. 

Lots of good things to take away today for the Mambas even in defeat, we battled as a team which was great to see.
