Rising Hope Cobras (Year 9 Sept 2024) - Desborough Panthers

Well I'm a little deflated today, I'm sorry. 

Wasn't the ideal start to the day losing Alex and Jude to injuries in the warm up/ arriving for the game. Leaving us with 1 sub. Never happened before but these things happen. 

We lacked a tackle today, effort to want to win the ball. We played for a total of 5 minutes our football today and scored 2 goals. They played out their skins and were allowed to play for most of the game and scored 4. We told them after the game that the effort levels needs to be raised and trust in each other more and play the football they can and next week when we play Desborough again in the cup we can have a better game and possibly result. 

2 great goals from seb and Josh with both assisting the other. 

Chrissy was player of the match slipping into the midfield and showed grit and determination that I hope will rub off on others next week.
