Girls U11's Wildcats - Leamington Lions RA

A tough test for the Wildcats vs Leamington Lions RA.

Leamington scored immediately from kick-off and then kept us pinned back for most of the first half, winning lots of corners but we defended them well. Hollie in goal was really quick off her line to grab the ball from the attackers a number of times. We created a couple of chances just before half time but their keeper saved.

Second half we managed to get forward a bit more winning a few corners of our own and nearly scoring as the ball rolled across the face of goal. Rosie had lots of energy in midfield and Maisie nearly scored a fantastic goal, taking the ball from halfway, dribbling past a number of their players into the box but their keeper saved.

There was a goalmouth scramble at the end which we defended well.

Well done to both Hollie and Emilie-Rose for having a go in goal.
