U14 JPL 24/25 - Kings Langley

For today's match we welcomed Kings Langley and we were hoping for another win to make it 4 out 4 and we didn't disappoint.

We probably had about 90% possession in the whole match, however for the first 15minutes we were unable to convert any goals. A lovely goal from Ayse was ruled offside. However, after we found our footing there was no stopping us. We went 1 up with a great goal from Isla who worked non-stop. A 2nd followed with a great gaol from just outside the box from Vanessa who buried it into the back of the net. We were unlucky not to go in at half-time scoring a few more. There were endless moments of great passing from our midfielders and Scarlett running down the right wing getting crosses into the box numerous times only for their defenders to clear the ball.

We had a mission for the 2nd half, that on the back of scoring 4 goals in every one of our previous matches we had to try and get at least one more than that.

2nd half kicked off and pretty much straight from thr kick off the ball landed to Ayse who planted into the left corner of the net. 3-0.

The girls are really growing as footballers, great passing, looking up and placing their kicks with precision.

A great ball came to Leni who launched it towards goal for it to bounce off the post and back into goal. 4-0!!

Our final goal came from our current top goal scorer Ayse to give her 8 for the season.

A fantastic game of football from the girls. Poor Miley had very little to do in the game with our defenders of Ryah, Abi, Charlotte, Hetty and Beth keeping their strikers at bay.

Our midfielders, Isla, Darcie, Vanessa, Leni worked hard getting the ball up to our strike force of Ayse and Scarlett.

Potm today goes to Scarlett for her non-stop running and creating so many opportunities.
