Rising Hope Kraits (Year 7 Sept 2024) - Kettering Hawks

A very chilled morning at Tresham saw Hawks visit the Kraits for the Kraits first ever u9s v u9s game or their career. We started with the trade mark 2-3-1 formation and it started well. Passing in our structure was our key today. We got an early free kick half way in the Hawks half after some neat play found us in that position of the pitch. Kian stepped up and saw a gap in the defence and goal from his kick.... GOAL. For the first time ever we were in the lead of a game, from here we continued to play some good football and string some really good passes together. Considering the team has only been together 3 months the togetherness is very good and can only get better. Unfortunately we went behind with a couple of well taken goals from Hawks. But again we didnt stop or give up trying to play the way we do. We have our style and it is starting to show more and more. Cornelious showing his size in the box bundled the ball into the goal from a well timed cross. From then Kraits took control and with more games under our belt and memories being created every game for players that get into goal scoring positions, the Kraits will start scoring many more goals in games. Exciting times ahead.
