Rising Hope Rattlesnakes (year 4 Sept 2024) - Corby Town Youth

Unfortunately the game today didn’t go our way. We dominated the first 10 mins and a few other periods in the game but didn’t capitalise on our opportunities. 

The team we played today are playing a year up and also in the league above us (Blue) but by no means overwhelmed us on the whole. 

We let a few bad habits creep into our game today with players wandering out of position and not tracking back. But overall there were some good things taken from the game. 

We explored a few rotations of players in different positions. 

Special mention for:

James who made a mark in defence when given the opportunity and put some strong challenges in. 

and Tom who played a really good game and was box to box causing problems for the opposition at all times. Took a few knocks so came off a couple times to recover. 

Our goals today came from Filip with a well taken goal and 2 from Arya following up well on rebounds and a good finish for his second. 

Star Players today were earned by Arya for his overall performance in midfield and as striker and Cameron for a couple of good saves in the match as well as the penalty shootout after. Well done 👏🏽👏🏽🏆🏆
