CF U7 NL 2024/2025 (Corams Fields League) - Marelybone FC

What a game! We didn’t start as well as we hoped, and the opponents took advantage, scoring two early goals. Despite this, we reacted well and created several chances, but their goalkeeper was in great form. Fortunately, Philippe scored his first goal with a brilliant strike to make it 2-1!

We kept pushing but couldn’t find the finishing touch, and the opposition extended their lead to 3-1. We didn’t give up, though, and Forest scored a great goal to bring it back to 3-2. However, just before half-time, we lost a bit of focus and conceded another, leaving us 4-2 down at the break.

In the second half, the team came out stronger and took control of the game. After missing a few chances, Sebastian scored a great goal to make it 4-3. The momentum was with us, and after some brilliant teamwork, Arkkeyn equalized with a fantastic finish to make it 4-4.

We kept pressing, and Zain gave us the lead with a great finish to make it 5-4. We created more chances to score another, but in the final moments, the opponents equalized, and the game finished 5-5.

I’m so proud of the team’s performance—it was one of our best games of the season! I'm particularly pleased that we had 5 different goalscorers which shows how much we improved. It’s amazing to see how much each player has improved and how well we’ve come together as a team.
