CF U7 NL 2024/2025 (Corams Fields League) - East End Lions FC

Another entertaining game saw our team battle to a 4-4 draw. We had a strong first half, creating plenty of chances and taking a 3-2 lead. Our high pressing was excellent, winning the ball in the opponent’s third and putting them under pressure. However, a couple of defensive errors cost us two goals.

In the second half, we were unlucky not to score more, missing some clear chances. We lost a bit of focus, and the opposition took advantage, scoring twice in just one minute. Despite this, the team showed great resilience and fought until the very end, scoring a dramatic equalizer in the final moments. With five more minutes, I’m confident we could have grabbed a winner, as we had all the momentum.

Overall, I’m very pleased with the team’s effort and determination to keep going until the last second. One area to improve is avoiding simple defensive mistakes, but we’ll keep working and come back even stronger next week!
