Thanks for all the ones who made it today.
I wish to see more commitment as we have 10 players, for 5 only to turn up, is not helping the team. Hopefully it is a one off and we don't play again with 5 players, no subs, no goalkeepers especially that we are playing at HOME.
The boys have put all in today in this heat and circumstances. The teams were even, and both played good football. Apart from their wonderkid that scored 80% of their goals and assisted the other 20%, the boys matched the other team and got the better of them in multiple occasions
Key takes from today:
- Arthur was lion heart as always. Always in the right place, won so many tackles against a wonderkid who played in Leicester academy at the end of last year and plays U9 this year.
- Zachary HUGE improvement in his positioning and was always our window to transition into attack
- Great passing especially in the first 15-20 mins when we were still fit
- Special Thanks for Benji for volunteering to be a goalie and pulled some great saves
- Super proud of Basant, he was everywhere today, the only carrier of the ball today and scored a wonderful goal
- Andi helped the team and put a great effort
