U11 Calcio Talent & Select - Yorkshire Amateurs

We lost to a strong side today who have played with other for a long while and who punished our mistakes really well. We dealt with their balls in behind really well and lost very few 1v1 duels. But our lack of desperation to defend our goal after an error cost us a few today, as well disorganisation on the counter. 

We kept pushing and driving to do the right things and didn't lack any desire today. We did look unorganised and without a plan, much different to our friendly matches and the game VS GT where we looked like we knew exactly what we wanted to do. So something to work before next week vs UFCA.

Well done to all the boys for sticking with the task and working hard till the end. I'm always proud of this group with their exemplary attitude and effort. 

5-0 didn't flatter the opposition, but if we got more right today it's a much closer game in my opinion. Man to man, we are at very similar levels. 

Well done to the ref for what I assume was his first and hopefully last match. When your asking a coach what to do for a drop ball, while scrolling your phone mid game, you probably should chase a different career path👍🤦‍♂️
