Girls U11's Wildcats - Sporting Rugby/Coundon Court

The Wildcats played 2 back to back matches this morning.

First up were Sporting Rugby. A close fought match with Sporting taking a 1-0 win, scoring the only goal with 5 minutes to play.

Tilly had a great opportunity to score after breaking away on the counterattack. There were also chances for Emily, Imogen, Isabelle and Hatty.

Next up were Coundon Court. We were the better side for much of the match and were quicker to every ball - both Sporting and Coundon struggled with the energy and pace we have in the team.

Midway through the match a great corner delivery from Isabelle into the six yard box found Lily-Rae and then Ava at the far post. Ava grabbed her chance, scoring her first goal for the team! 👏⚽️

Coundon drew level with 10 minutes to play and stole the win with a goal in the last minute after a bit of a mixup in our midfield.

Millie and Rosie were both super impressive playing at left-back and right-back and it was fantastic to hear Elsie organising the team from goal.

🥇 Hollie was awarded player of the match after a really solid performance in central defence throughout both games.
