Girls U9's Lionesses - Warwick U9 Angels

The girls achieved their first win of the season today away to Warwick Juniors. A fantastic performance earning them the win.

First half :

A fantastic strong start to the game saw Phoebe sprinting through on goal and finding the back of the net. This gave the girls a confident start to the match . 

Some strong defence and brilliant pass from the back to Scarlett on the wing who played through to Phoebe who finished the attack with a goal

The girls did not stop with some amazing passing and moving to prevent conceding. 

Second half:

The girls started so strong, Phoebe made a pass through to Bea who took a touch and shot scoring a goal for us. Her face was a picture, she was so shocked and so proud for scoring her first goal. 

Some more link up play lead to Phoebe playing the ball to Amy who converted the chance. The girls were growing in confidence. 

Phoebe decided she wasn't finished,  Amelia ran the ball up from defence. She got a shot on goal but the keeper saved it but Phoebe was there to score. 

The girls put in so much to keep Warwick from scoring however they managed to score a brilliant goal. Our girls managed to instantly react. 

Our U9s wanted one more before the game ended, Aims played a lovely ball across the goal mouth to Hattie, our defender, who placed it into the bottom corner. 

An amazing performance from the u9s, so many positives from the game. So much that's been worked on in training taken into the match today.
