Success at the Bassingbourn Belle 10 Miler in aid of Braintrust

Despite the extremely windy weather, the annual Bass Belle went ahead in unseasonably warm temperatures. A few members of the Steeple Chasers made the most of a very local event, so nice not to have to get up at the crack of sparrows, but also an added challenge for those who had to run past their own front door! Ten miles is a great distance - a good challenge if you regularly run 10km but nothing like as hard as a half marathon, although some of these Steeple Chasers are working their way up to the Cambridge Half Marathon in early March 2025. 

We also had a few club members who decided not to run on the day due to the inclement weather and they have all now done the run virtually for their well deserved medal.
