Licence & Mat Fees
How to pay your subs!
The first class you attend at NNJC will always be free - come along, give it a throw and see if you like judo. There is no obligation and no cost to finding out what we are like!
After this the base mat fee is £5 per session. If you attend two nights per week, the second session will cost you £2. We also have a family discount structure, as well as discounts for paying the term or half term up front.
In addition to paying for your class, you will need a judo licence from the British Judo Council (BJC). This is your insurance, your grading record and basically your passport to train.
The cost of the BJC Licence is as follows:
When you first join you can take out a Provisional Licence. This costs £10.00 and last you for three months. On expiry and with the production of the provisional licence the £10.00 will be removed from the full membership price and a licence for a further 9 months issued.
* Under 18 years New members £30.00
* Over 18 years New Members £36.00
* Under 18 years Renewal £26.00
* Over 18 years Renewal £32.00
* University membership £20.00
In addition all Provisional Licences will remain at £10.00 each. On expiry and with the production of the provisional licence the £10.00 will be removed from the full membership price and a licence for a further 9 months issued.
You will receive reminders through SportMember when your licence fees are due. You can pay through SportMember, but this does incur a small administration fee. Alternatively you can simply pay at the desk on your class night.
If you are a family group, always check at the desk before renewal as the BJC and NNJC offer family discount structures!
